You probably have given lots of thought to owing your own home and came up with reasons such as, no more increase in your rent and the tax benefits that you would receive. Many young people however, grew up in a prime housing market and may think that home ownership is beyond their reach.

Once you purchase a home you will receive the benefit of one of the last remaining tax shelters, renting deprives you of these tax breaks. You will have the freedom to pursue other life goals once you have fulfilled your dream of home ownership.

You will find that you will have a greater sense of community once you own a house. This is the anchor that you will need to feel more attached to the city in which you live. You will be more interested in what happens in your local government, in the schools and even to the roads.

Finally, you will have that sense of stability, you can make changes as you wish, it’s your home. Get that feeling of being in control, you can remodel, add an extra room, improve on the landscaping, do whatever you wish. You will have a feeling of pride in being able to have control over what happens in your home.

Your children will feel more secure and will do better is school, kids feel the same need for control we adults do.  You'll never get a notice that you have to move, the kids will never have to change schools. It gives you freedom to plan years ahead.  In a home you get to know the neighbors and watch out for each other's kids, in a neighborhood, kids usually play in their yards or go to friend's houses a few doors away.

Save time and money and remain Stress Free by not spending your Saturdays’ at the Laundromat. You gain freedom in being able to do the laundry as you wish. You will have extra time to spend enjoying your home with your family.
